Acquiring Credits through Standardized Examinations
You can transfer credits to LCCC based on your past achievements or experiences. Credits are awarded for qualifying scores from the following standardized exams.
Advanced Placement (AP) Exams
High school students can take Advanced Placement (AP) courses that teach college-level content. Qualifying scores from AP tests can be transferred as credit to colleges like LCCC. Learn more about AP testing.

CLEP Testing
If you’ve gained comprehensive subject knowledge through independent or prior study, on-the-job training, or cultural pursuits, you can turn that knowledge into college credits.
